Terms & Conditions

EKVO — Your Team. Your Store.

Effective Date: 12 October 2026

Welcome to EKVO. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the EKVO website, subscription services, organization storefronts and related features.

By registering an account, subscribing to EKVO, operating a storefront or placing an order through an EKVO-powered store, you agree to the applicable terms below.

1. About EKVO

EKVO is an online platform that enables approved Sports Teams and Committees to create and manage their own merchandise storefronts.

EKVO provides digital tools for storefront customization, product management, order processing, payment tracking, customer communications and related services.

EKVO operates as a technology platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, merchandise is sold by the individual Sports Team or Committee operating the storefront, not by EKVO.

2. Account Registration

Organizations must provide accurate and current information during registration.

EKVO reserves the right to review, approve, request additional information for, or reject organization applications for legitimate operational, security or compliance reasons.

Registration approval does not automatically activate a paid subscription or authorize live sales.

Organization managers are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and managing access granted to staff.

Users must not share login credentials or access accounts without authorization.

3. Organization Responsibilities

Each organization is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate product information, prices and availability.
  • Managing its merchandise inventory and customer orders.
  • Verifying customer payments received into its bank account.
  • Producing or arranging the supply of purchased merchandise.
  • Fulfilling delivery and collection commitments.
  • Responding to customer enquiries and complaints.
  • Establishing lawful and clearly disclosed return, refund and cancellation policies.
  • Complying with applicable consumer protection, tax and business laws.

Organizations must not use EKVO to sell prohibited, unlawful, counterfeit or unauthorized products.

Organizations are responsible for ensuring that uploaded logos, artwork, photographs, fonts and product designs do not infringe third-party rights.

4. Subscription Plans

EKVO offers the following subscription plans:

Kuda Meeha — MVR 500/month

Bodu Meeha — MVR 1,000/month

Beyfulhaa — MVR 1,500/month

Event & Tournament:

  • 30 days — MVR 1,500
  • 60 days — MVR 2,500
  • 90 days — MVR 4,250

Each plan includes specific product, order, staff and feature limits, as described on the EKVO Pricing page.

EKVO may update subscription offerings or prices with reasonable prior notice. Changes to already paid subscription periods will not apply retroactively unless required by law or expressly agreed.

5. First-Month Promotional Discount

Eligible organizations may receive a 20% discount on their first paid monthly subscription.

The promotional prices are:

  • Kuda Meeha — MVR 400
  • Bodu Meeha — MVR 800
  • Beyfulhaa — MVR 1,200

The discount is available only once per eligible organization and applies only to its first paid monthly subscription period.

The promotion does not apply to Event & Tournament subscriptions, renewals or upgrades.

EKVO may refuse duplicate or fraudulent promotional claims.

6. Subscription Payments

Subscription payments are made by bank transfer to EKVO's designated bank account.

Organizations must use the payment details and reference provided through the official EKVO billing page.

Uploading a transfer slip does not constitute confirmation that payment has been received.

Subscription payments are subject to manual verification by authorized EKVO personnel.

A subscription becomes active only after the payment has been successfully verified and accepted.

Incorrect, incomplete or unverifiable payment submissions may be rejected, with an explanation where appropriate.

7. Subscription Validity and Renewal

Monthly subscriptions remain valid for the applicable calendar-month subscription period.

Event & Tournament subscriptions remain valid for the purchased duration of 30, 60 or 90 days.

Subscriptions do not renew automatically.

Organizations must complete renewal payments before or after expiry to continue using paid services.

Verified early renewals extend the current paid period in accordance with EKVO's renewal rules.

8. Upgrades and Downgrades

Organizations may request eligible plan upgrades or downgrades.

Upgrades: The full price of the new plan applies. Once payment is verified, the upgraded subscription begins a new billing period. Unused time on the previous plan is not credited, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Downgrades: Downgrades take effect at the next verified renewal. The organization must comply with the limits of its new plan.

EKVO will preserve historical orders and relevant records when a plan changes.

9. Subscription Cancellation and Refunds

Organizations may choose not to renew their subscriptions.

Cancellation of future renewal does not automatically reverse an already completed payment.

Refund requests for subscription payments will be reviewed individually, taking into account the circumstances, services supplied and applicable consumer protection laws.

Any mandatory statutory refund rights remain unaffected.

EKVO will not impose a blanket no-refund rule where a refund is legally required.

10. Subscription Expiry

When a subscription expires, EKVO may restrict new product publishing, new orders, new sales campaigns and other paid features.

Existing customer orders, receipts and tracking information will remain accessible where reasonably necessary for order fulfillment, customer support, recordkeeping and legal compliance.

An expired subscription does not remove an organization's responsibility to fulfill existing customer orders.

EKVO may suspend accounts involved in fraud, security violations or serious breaches of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

11. Customer Orders and Merchandise Purchases

Customers may place orders through storefronts operated by approved organizations.

The organization operating the storefront is the seller of the merchandise.

Product descriptions, sizes, personalization options, prices, estimated production periods, delivery fees and collection arrangements are provided by the selling organization.

Customers are responsible for reviewing their order details before submission.

For personalized products, customers should carefully confirm names, numbers, sizes, quantities and other selected details.

Order acceptance and payment confirmation are separate processes.

12. Customer Payments

Merchandise payments are transferred directly to the selling organization's designated bank account.

EKVO does not ordinarily receive or hold these customer merchandise payments.

Payment slips submitted through a storefront are reviewed by the selling organization.

Uploading a payment slip does not automatically confirm payment.

The selling organization is responsible for verifying the payment and updating the customer's order status.

Customers should retain their transfer records until payment is confirmed.

13. Order Changes, Cancellations and Refunds

Order changes and cancellation requests are subject to the selling organization's disclosed policies and the applicable stage of order processing.

Personalized merchandise may have different cancellation conditions once production has started, where permitted by law.

Customers must be informed of material cancellation or refund restrictions before purchase.

Products that are defective, incorrectly supplied or otherwise subject to mandatory consumer remedies remain covered by applicable law.

EKVO may assist in directing complaints to the appropriate organization but does not automatically become the seller or assume responsibility for every transaction conducted through the platform.

14. Delivery and Collection

Delivery locations, delivery fees, collection points and estimated delivery dates are determined by the selling organization.

Customers must provide accurate contact and delivery information.

Organizations must communicate material delays or changes to fulfillment arrangements.

Any delivery estimates should be presented accurately and should not be treated as guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by the seller.

15. Storefront Content and Intellectual Property

Organizations retain ownership of content they lawfully upload, subject to any third-party rights.

By uploading content, an organization grants EKVO the limited permission necessary to store, display, process and deliver that content as part of the platform's services.

Organizations must not upload content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, abusive or harmful.

EKVO retains ownership of its platform software, design system, trademarks, brand identity and proprietary technology.

Use of EKVO does not transfer ownership of its intellectual property.

16. Staff Access and Security

Organization managers are responsible for assigning appropriate staff permissions.

Staff members may access only the information and functions authorized for their roles.

Unauthorized access, credential sharing, attempts to bypass security controls or misuse of customer information are prohibited.

EKVO may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect platform security and user information.

17. Platform Availability

EKVO aims to provide a reliable and secure service.

However, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, software updates, internet outages, infrastructure failures or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

EKVO does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Where practical, EKVO will communicate planned maintenance and material service interruptions.

18. Limitation of Responsibility

EKVO is responsible for providing its platform services with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable law.

Individual organizations remain responsible for the merchandise they sell, the accuracy of their listings and fulfillment of their customer obligations.

To the extent permitted by law, EKVO is not responsible for losses caused solely by an organization's failure to supply merchandise, inaccurate product descriptions or improper handling of customer payments.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

19. Privacy and Data Protection

EKVO processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Organizations accessing customer information through EKVO must use that information only for legitimate business purposes and must maintain appropriate confidentiality and security.

Customer information must not be sold or misused.

20. Changes to These Terms

EKVO may update these Terms to reflect changes in platform functionality, operational requirements or applicable law.

The latest version will be published on the EKVO website with its effective date.

Where changes materially affect existing users, EKVO will provide appropriate notice.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Maldives.

Disputes should initially be raised through the appropriate EKVO support channel or, for merchandise purchases, with the selling organization.

Nothing in these Terms prevents users from exercising applicable statutory rights or contacting the relevant authorities.
